Thank you to everyone that replied. It was all a big help. I was confused
at how I could eat gluten for a month with no symptoms and they suddenly
come back...I think I understand how that can happen now. One thing I left
out before is that I have had a mild lactose intolerance my entire life...meaning
I have never had problems with cheese, ice cream, or skim milk (and believe
me I eat alot of all of this). Whole milk or cream on the other hand gives
me a huge stomach ache. I have been drinking skim milk and eating cheese
throughout the GF diet since they weren't causing my normal lactose reaction.
The overall theme throughout all of the replies I received was that I should
try an elimination diet (including dairy) which I am doing starting tonight.
I have done some searches on the best way to conduct an elimination diet,
but there seem to be MANY different methods. The other thing mentioned
quite a bit is to check my cosmetic products...I went out today and bought
new shampoo, conditioner and deodorant. I am hoping I bought the right
brands!! Thank you again to everyone!!!!
BTW, I am in Virginia. Anyone on the list going to the conference in Tysons
at the end of the month?
