Yesterday, I was approached by my priest, he told me that he just recieved a letter from the Bishops Council ?, about the acceptance of a low gluten wafer, that is being produced by some nuns in Missori.

He told me that he ordered the wafers and wants to try them on my daughter to see if she reacts, I was in a bit of a rush when he approaced me and so I kindof said OK, and moved along, however, I am now questioning my sudden acceptance of his idea. The letter states that the wafers contain 0.01 % amount of gluten, but gluten free is gluten free not low gluten, RIGHT? I want to tell him NO, am I over reacting?

Has anyone else come upon this low gluten wafer thing?

HELP!

Mary Curran
