I am a recovering anorexic who is interested in eating paleo. I tried it
for about two weeks and WOW!!! did I feel great, my moods got better and I
actually wanted to eat. Unfortunately I also lost 10 pounds and I have a
sneaking suspicion that I went into ketosis because I was peeing so much.
So... I binged on haagendaas and got my weight back up but now I feel like
crap. I was eating CUPS of veggies and nuts, lots of meat, eggs, and
seafood, avocados, greens,  and moderate amounts of fruit so I am not sure
why this happened? Would eating things more along the lines of dried
fruits and bananas help? I tried that but it didn't seem to be easy on the
tummy. Is juice the answer? I need some guidance on what to eat on this
diet if one wants to put on muscle and not lose 10 lbs in two weeks.
Thanks. I am really interested in this way of life, I found this place
from a link on beyondveg.com (I am a former vegan), and I want to make
this work so I am open to all suggestions. I have been trying to
weightlift and losing 10 lbs didn't help. Now I gained it back but it is
all fat grrr....
