Thank you Ian.... I guess I should have gotten a little further in depth,
mine was loosing time with the machine on, turn it off and it kept time
perfectly, and also to clarify.... I was running WME at the time.

The short story with computer clocks that don't keep the right time is:

Loses time while computer ON - OS problem
Loses time while computer OFF - battery problem
