the problems I have is in the summer, mowing the lawn and in the winter
shoveling the snow. That's probably the same for everyone. I just bought a
trimmer and that was real fun dealing with my hand going numb after 15 minutes. I
got a funny idea watching AC/DC and got a strap and tied it on to the trimmer.
I wore it like an electric guitar. It worked. I was able to do more work
that way. One end was loose by the power button. I used my left arm to press
down the upper part, while my right hand held the trimmer and the lower end.
That got rid of the vibrations that was affecting my right hand.

With winter, I only clear the driveway from the house to the street and a
little into the street. I live on a dead end street. When the snowplows come
through. I'm usually left with a high pile to clear before I could leave the
house. Since I don't have good balance on the ice, I have to clear the apron, I
think that is what it's called, before cars leave ice I can't move out of the
way myself. Having a sectioned cement driveway makes it easy for me to see
how far over to clear. Think of your driveway having two lanes. I clear the
one lane away from the house and make a single file path down to the gate of
the driveway, wide enough for a wheelchair to go through with no problem.
