I have a thf6-a and am enjoying it. I do have a question and hopefully someone has the answer.

I wear hearing aids and I have a patch cable which I can use to connect things like radios, cd players etc., to the aids. It has the standard mini-plug and works
with most things which have the mini-jack. There's a standard smaller one, the technical name of which I can't recall right now. I think I have an adaptor to go
down to that smaller plug but it doesn't fit into the phone jack of the thf6-a. So, either it's an aoddball size or my adaptor is screwed up.

Is that earphone connector any kind of standard size and is it wired in the normal fashion or is the whole thing proprietary?

I didn't buy a headset or speaker mic when I got the radio, so don't really have anything here to compare with.

Thanks,

Don W6SMB
