I suggest you 1. Pass tech test 2. Check with a local ham as to which
repeaters in your area are active. 3. Join or support a local club. 4. Ask a
local ham to show you how Thf6 works. For help with number 1 consult
Handi-hams.
Also get all you can from
icanworkthisthing.com
on the thf6.
I've already e-mailed my phone number to you. I'll also help you do number
1.
