I saved that message that Lynn posted about resetting the beeps.

I did do a total reset because right now I don't have anything
programmed into the radio.  But later on down the road as I get
more things programmed in I probably would avoid doing a total
reset unless there was absolutely no other way.
I am also glad that the rig asks for confirmation before it
performs a total reset because a total reset has the potential of
being a very drastic command.  73.
