Hi all.
I just discovered the W4MQ remote base on echolink.
Was going to tell y'all about it, but searched the
archives & found some related messsages in July. None
mentioned you could use it with echolink though, but
you can. No password or extra program needed, & U.S.
hams can start transmitting right away where your ULS
listing says you can. Go to
http://www.w4mq.com/echo/
to find out about it. Unfortunately, I can only
receive at present, because I can't access the chat
window(for controling the radio) with my current
screen-reader, but hope to get window eyes soon. Maybe
it's not "real radio" but think it will be a blast.
Just brought it up a few minutes ago & heard a net in
progress, pretty good audio.
