Hi All,

As many of you may remember, I have the Icom IC-746 Pro. This is a
wonderful radio with superb DSP functions. However, the one thing it can't
do is something my first receiver with an old Heath Kit Q multiplier could
do. With that setup, I could tune in a cw signal, advance the selectivity
control on the Q multiplier and then use the tuning control on the Q
multiplier to peak that signal right up out of the noise. Is anyone on the
list using anything that would be the modern equivalent to this? I know of
the Autek QF-1A but wonder if anyone is using anything else that is as
reasonably priced? Anyone have a QF-1A you aren't using?

Thanks much and very 73.

Kevin :)
