A couple of weeks ago, I asked about "Fatal Exception". I got some answers
and have just gone back to the computer and when I started it, this time it
loaded itself right to the desktop without a Fatal Exception and in Normal
Mode. I couldn't believe it, but then it froze on the desktop straight after
the "Welcome to Windows" screen loaded on it. Would anybody know why it's
doing this now. In the BIOS settings in PnP, IRQ numbers 3,4 and 7 are set
to Legacy ISA , IRQ's 5,9,10,11,12,14 and 15 are set to PCI/ISA Pnp ,
and the rest are DMA numbers 0,1,3,5,6, and 7 set to PCI/ISA Pnp. The PNP OS
has "NO" marked against it's installation. The computer is only 5 years old.
The only thing it's doing is showing an "unknown" monitor which is set to
default, but the computer ran fine with this before. Can somebody please
help. Thank you.
