Shirley and I use the Ramsey fm-25. It broadcasts on a fm frequency
(selectable by internal switches) whatever audio comes in on the stereo
input. This particular model has many drawbacks for a visually impaired
assembler. 1. It comes in kit form with over 100 components to be
soldered into a circuit board. 2. The components leads are not trimmed
for mounting. 3. The circuit board has many traces spaced closer than
1/10 inch apart. 4. The small components are not easily identified. 5.
Polarity sensitive components are only visually marked. There are more
reasons, but even with an assembled and tested unit, I wouldn't advise
this unit, unless the kit builder is willing to change frequencies if
necessary. A better option might be a wireless router and receiver.
