I buy old, refurbished computers and install the OS and get them working
for seniors. Right now I have an OLD IBM, CPU 350Mhz, RAM 128Mb
I'm fixing for a lady on DSL who just wants to get mail from her sister in
England. My problem is, I go to startup,(press F1 ), system summary and enter. The floppy "A" is enabled, IDE hard disk drive 0, 1, 2, &3 are NOT INSTALLED. There is nothing shown to change these settings, so I can't install the OS. Has anyone worked on an old IBM and can tell me how
to correct the settings??? Many thanks from the two of us, AL SMITH
