Hi,
Have you double checked that the speakers are still
working? Perhaps on a friends machine. Especially if
they are powered speakers. Have you tried
uninstalling the soundcard and reinstalling it? And
for that matter opening the box and physically
reseating the card if it's in a PCI slot and not
on-board?
