HI,

Dell units usually have a service tag number on the rear or underside of
the unit.

If you go to Dell's site you should be able to put that takg number in
and get the correct drivers for the OS you want to use for all the
components in the system

Thanks and have a Great Day!

Joe Lore
=====================================

Hi All,

My friend has a Dell Computer, Pentium and she has lost the sound (PCI
Audio). She has tried to re-install the audio but it keeps saying
"Service Profile damaged".

Does anyone have an idea how to correct this problem?

She tried also to restart the computer with win98 cd in drive in the
hope that it would be picked up through this but no such luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
