Hello all,
Pardon my ignorance, but I am just now working on my tech class license
and do not know a great deal about amateur radio communications.
However, I have heard several different references recently to making a
phone patch and auto-patch features, etc., and I am unclear as to what
exactly this means. It sounds as if one can patch into the existing
telephony infrastructure and complete a contact between one's radio and
a telephone. Is this correct? What are the limitations and some basic
guidelines that apply?
I was wondering if someone would be able to provide some additional
information on this subject.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.

Regards,
Alex Coleman
