I got the general the old way, by the time I was ready for the extra they
had changed it and I almost didn't go for the extra I put it off for a
couple years because I was proud of that 13 words per minute, I like saying
I did that the old way. Funny thing is, when I got the 13, I went in to take
the 5 so I could get my tech plus, back in 95 or 96 it was now, I went in
for the 5, I knew I could pass that but had been slowly studying faster and
faster in the days leading up to that with 1 of those MFJ code tutors, when
I went in, they talked me in to the 13, come to find out, I wasn't too far
off that and I passed it. I thought I'd take it for a laugh, well, that
smile wasn't a laughing at myself, I was so happy.
