I also have a Knwd TS-2000, and I agree with you; it is a great rig.
I have had mine over two years.
For repeater use, menu 61-A should be on C.
Menu 61-B if on provides a carrier delay like a repeater; if off, there is
no hang-time.
That's all there is to it.
