Hi Kathie,
Looks like you may be out of luck there. You some how need to tell Internet
explorer to download the pdf file. One option is to uninstall acrobat
reader so that IE wont know what to do with the file so it will prompt you
to download the file. This is not a good long term solution but as of now I
cannot think of any others. You may perhaps try create different user
accounts if you are a win xp or 2k user and install axcrobat reader in only
1 account and do the downloading from another account.

Unfortunately NetLibrary doesn't allow you to download the file. You
can "check it out" but that doesn't let you download it. Kathie

Hi Katherine,
How are you reading the pdf file? Have you downloaded it and are you
then opening it in acrobat reader or have you clicked on a link in a
browser and the Adobe Acrobat reader has been launched? If the latter,
download the file, open it in acrobat eader and see how things go.

I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to read a NetLibrary book online using
their reader (supposedly Adobe Reader 6.0) with Window Eyes 4.5. GW
Micro says it probably just won't work, but I'd love to hear from anyone
who has accomplished this feat. Thanks in advance. Kathie
