Bruce,  When we got this free deer I asked about the hide as I thought we
might be able to sell/give it to someone to tan.  One of the hunters here
said you can't even give them away so we took it to the dump.  There used
to be a place where you could take your deer hide and they would give you a
pair of deerskin gloves for it.  Ruth
