Could there be interfence/disturbances from objects around the computer?
E.g. loudspeakers, TV set, cell phone, other wireless devices.
Just an idea,

| So far we have changed drivers for video card. . . both the latest and
| others in the driver archive at NVidia.
|
| Tried to correct fuzziness with the convergence and focus
| controls on the
| monitor.
|
| We swapped out the monitor with a new one.
|
| Changed video cards to an ATI Rage 128 pro.
|
| None of these fixes worked. . . altho changing the video card
| has exhibited
| some improvement, but text is still unreadable at the margins, and the
| color variations are still in evidence, however not as severe.
