I'm not recommending that you eat it at all, but if you
do, I think that you had better eat brown rice, not white
rice, because:
(a) there are more nutrients, i.e. vitamins, left behind;
and
(b) probably more importantly, the glycemic index is much
lower. The glycemic index of white rice is close to that
of glucose, so as far as your blood sugar level is
concerned there isn't that much difference between a bowl
of white rice and a candy bar or a can of coke. The
glycemic index of brown rice is quite a bit lower. White
rice is like white bread, i.e. super processed.
