well i had to be up quite late this morning so i did
some tinkering with the router. what every body said
should be easy just was not working. i did it all by
all the instructions that i had available, some sent
by deri, thanks. deri. nothing worked. so i called
tech support at linksys. we went through a few things
nothing working, then a few more "look at this and
that." he then declared, "i think you got a defective
router, go swap it for another and if you can't get it
to work call us back."  well if there is a bad one of
anything in a store, it'll jump into my shopping cart.
i am lucky that way. i have pulled my reciept in prep
for exchanging the router and starting over.
