This is getting way off topic, but the five states (plus the three autonomous countries Greenland, Faeroe-islands and Åland-islands) are actually called "the Nordic countries". Scandinavia = Sweden, Norway and Denmark. If you add Finland, you get the (purely) geological concept "Fenno-scandia".
