Consider this. You are a desert dweller migrating from oasis to oasis.
Your favorite pool is coming in sight and you imagine how sweet the
cool fresh water will taste. You get there to find a herd of pigs
wallowing in the water. You chase the pigs away, but have no choice but
to drink the filthy water there anyway. Half your family comes down
sick and some die. Voila, pigs are filthy, don't eat them.
