I'm reposting an earlier question that remains unanswered in any proven
sense. I think it may have been lost amongst my long intro ;-)
I continue to do very well after several weeks on the paleodiet, but I'm
still eating a lot of fresh (and a little dried) fruit. I have very good
teeth, but as my fruit consumption has risen, I'm concerned about the
effects of fruit acids and sugars on the enamel.
I know that extracted fruit juices can damage enamel, but are whole fruits
any different? If not, how soon after eating fruit should I brush?
I tend to graze, so if it's necessary to brush after every piece of fruit,
I'm concerned about brushing too much and wearing down the enamel <g>
Please advise.
Slainte,
Persephone
