Fredrik, since you asked I'll tell. Really, I'm convinced that diet rather
than brushing and flossing is the mainstay of cavity-free teeth. DH says
his teeth would fall out if he took care of his the way I "don't" take care
of mine.....but he regularly eats sugars/starches that I seldom touch. I
*do* brush, once a day, in the morning. Sometimes I think to brush my
tongue, sometimes I don't. But within minutes my teeth are swimming in a
second cup of coffee laced with half & half. From there it's just a
downward slide of a day's meals being passed through the chompers. I pretty
regularly use a toothpick, but I am absolutely the world's worst not to
brush before bedtime...unless heh-heh. And I almost never floss. It's
really a weird situation for me that it's been 3.5 yrs since I've been to
the dentist because I've had a good history of checkups and a costly amount
of past dental work to prove it. Paleo dividends are great!
