Since I turned 50 a few weeks ago, I am in the process of having a 50,000
mile check up including a physical, mammogram, blood work, colonoscopy.

During my colonoscopy, I asked the doctor, who has been doing this for 20
years, if he had ever seen a patient with parasites. He said no. Now,
granted, some intestinal parasites are probably too small to be seen by the
scope - but I have always been bothered by this notion that parasites and
cancer are connected and that if people get rid of their parasites they will
protect themselves from cancer. It seems like the rate of parasites would
be higher in the third world, and I thought that they had a lower cancer
rate than the "civilized world".

Any thoughts?

Paula H.

And the biggie....triglycerides down from 254 to 62.
