There are many good arguments for this.
According to Dr.Wrangham, tubers (bulbs etc) are *the* paleo food item.
Depends on the presence of fire 2 mio years back (sure evidence is only
400,000 years). Because some tubers have toxins - which they loose when
heated. Raw eaten only 1/2 of the tubers are edible, and their
carbohydrates are less available.
However if white potatoes are paleo.. this is more of a question.
Sure is- there are paleo tubers.
