Wormwood is the main flavoring in maywine. I don't currently have a recipe,
but I've made it in the past by steeping it in white wine. You see it
commercially
in the US and I'm sure other countries around Mayday. When you make it at
home it is quite tasty and the wormwood adds quite a kick to the wine.

Wormwood is also the ingredient in absinthe that gives it its notariety.
You can
get herb packets to make absinthe at a number of sites on the web.

Wormwood is also a very pretty plant, rumored to keep away garden insect
pests.
Last but not least as the name implies it is used to kill worms.

Thanks everyone for weighing in on raw beef. I'm giving it a shot this
weekend.
Looking up beef tartar recipies has been fun.
