Thanks for all your help regarding my DH inquiry.  Here's a summary of the
responses:

- biopsy should be done NEXT TO, but not directly from a lesion
- fase negatives can result if biopsy is taken directly from lesion.
- DH CAN appear on mucous membranes and seems to like scars
- scarring will not result on unscratched areas though changes in
pigmentation can occur.
- various websites were forwarded (if anyone's interested, I'll post them
for you).
