Paula: "just as paleo as any other extract you all consider 'paleo'like
oils or anything else found naturally in food then extracted.

From the article:  "The main sources of commercially produced xylitol are corncobs and wood
scraps from the lumber industry."

That doesn't sound very paleo to me.
