Hi,

To begin with, go into 'device manager' and remove anything which has got a
yellow exclaimation mark next to it, then restart the computer.

Hopefully, it will be as straightforward as that.

When you restart the computer, it should say that it's found new hardware,
and then attempt to install the drivers for it.

(as long as you only removed the modem driver last time round, and didn't
delete the drivers, it should be that simple)

Keep your fingers crossed.
