1) There are many places to find and download different
drivers, but if you don't know *which is which* then
you better ask for an expert help. Not every new driver
is the best or good for your particular computer platform.
You can search Microsoft to read about drivers know-how
and how to download/install them.
Or go to a third party and forums. Hereby 2 places to start:
http://www.driverguide.com/
http://www.driversplanet.com/
2) There are many parts in your computer need driver/s, like
*not least* the Vedio card or chip, modem, sound, scanner,
printer.............etc.
3) To find your EXISTING drivers by type, date and other details
in Win98SE, go to Accessories-->System Tools-->
System Information, but even though you may need
some assistance to pinpoint your current drivers properly.
There are some good free utilities help into extracting
and collecting driver info from your platform, unfortunately
I'm not recalling any this moment. Maybe some colleagues
help in this issue.
