Quite frankly, 3000 calories is really not that much. Your basal metabolic
requirement is likely in the 1200-2500 cal range, and if you are very
tall/muscular, it could easily be close to 3000. If you are active, you
could require *a lot* more than 3000.
If you are full/bloated on only 3000 per day then I would guess that a)
you're underestimating the number of calories you consume, or b) you are
eating *a lot* of filling, but low calorie, veggies. Think about your food
choices and go more for the calorie (and nutrient dense) foods. A nice
juicy steak could easily clock in at 1000. Or a few handfuls of nuts.
(Hmmm, I'm getting hungry :)
