This is statistics. I've seen statistics, the *average* vegs has some
percent advantage to the average omnivore.

You can't condemn the one or the other because of this.
But you also can't condemn vegetarian lifestyles. They are generally
helpful.
This I wanted to point out - regarding child influencing.
Let me say that I think that the meat oriented lifestyle of the
paleo-oriented people here on the list
is a *lot* better than the average too.
Particularly if you have a sensibility against wheat - which is frequent.
And let's head toward positive things - what it's good to eat.
And this is IMHO the quest - to concentrate on nutrient rich food items.
Things not modified by industrial processing - optimaly like they have
been since plaleolithic times.
That's the quest, I think.
