So what happens now, a "No dairy discussion" rule? How
long shall it be enforced? What are the parameters?
Can someone mention ice cream? Can a newbie ask a
question about dairy? How many responses will be
allowed if a new person asks about dairy? What are the
limits of disagreement that will be allowed regarding
dairy?

And what about cheese? Shall that be decreed as
subversive because it is a form of dairy but it's not
as liquid as milk? And what about pizza?

You're suggesting something that demands mind control
and double think. If you want open discussion, than
you accept what you consider to be disagreeable,
obnoxious, verbose and the outright stupid along with
what you consider valuable and helpful.

We could spend more time arguing about whether or not
to limit a discussion on dairy than was spent on the
dairy discussion itself.

I think Don does an excellent job. I hope he doesn't
try to take on the role of censor.
