David:
>I followed the thread further down and it appears
>that the "death" was a hoax.
I realize that it could have been a hoax.
However, for whatever it is worth myself
and a number of people who at the time
followed the thread throughout concluded
that it probably was true. Regardless, it still
drives home the point of the potential danger
in (unsupervised) fasting when facing a serious
medical condition.
David:
>However, Dr Bernarr still is ignoring my request
>for information on his experience with dealing
>with liver cancer. -David
Naturally. It is only fortunate that he has no such
experience.
William:
>Fasting is a way of healing that AFAIK is well-proven,
Fasting is also a modality known to be both unhealthy
and harmful.
William:
>and anything to excess will do harm. For instance I've
>heard that if a person drinks five gallons of water per day,
>it will surely result in death, but I'm still drinking water. :D
Which is exactly why Bernarr's irresponsible recommendations
give fasting such a bad name.
