I second this loudly! When I first cleaned up my act, I thought it
would be awful living without rice and bread - this even though I
still ate quite healthily for non-Paleo - but I don't miss anything.
I have no cravings for stuff from the past, and I look forward to
every meal, even though I've fallen into a bit of a rut, too: four
big eggs and something like meat or avocado for breakfast, sardines
or nuts for lunch, and lots of meat and greens or broccoli for
dinner. For a few years now, that's been unboring. Of course, I am a
hell of a good cook, and get the most in flavor with minimal or no
"cooking" anyway:)
I, too, was "normal" weight going in, but lost a bit more. I hold
muscle better with less workouts, and am much healthier in terms of
headaches, muscle aches, colds, etc. having vanished...
