Bobby, I used to be a slow reader too, then I read a book on how to read
faster, I think I've doubled my speed by learning to read wholes sentences at a
time. It has to do with our confidence in ourselves to read phrases, such as
happy birthday, Good morning, good night, and then figuring out we can do that
with longer phrases, etc.
