Hi,
I don't want to throw cold water on the B & w antennas, but the ones that I
have heard have had consistently weak signal reports from this qth. I guess
that there swr readings are very good and that they are quite broadbanded,
but the signals that I have heard from stations using those antennas have
been consistently 2 to 3 s units weaker than signals from other antennas
using the same power. If you don't mind running more power than is
necessary to make up for the antennas inefficiencies, its a good choice.

I have been very interest in the b & w antenna info. How long is the
folded
B & W dipole that folks seem to have had luck with? Do we have any idea
what comes with their mounting kit? I looked at it on line and it didn't
really answer any questions.
I am using a r8 vertical which works reasonably well except for the noise
level.
