Weather it's at home or out and about, if the day every comes when I have to
use my computer to control a radio I'm in big trouble, I'd have to run about
a 20 foot cable to connect anything on my radio desk to my computer unless I
put another computer over there and I don't like that idea either, I have
too much stuff already, my TNC is 1 thing that doesn't bother anything but I
know I've connected my TS-570DG to the computer over here and had a ton of
RF problems through the computer so I quit trying, it's touch setting up in
tight confines, almost impossible at times, but I don't see anything
changing, the accessible radios will stay that way, the manufacturers will
keep making them that way and yaesu can crash and burn is how I feel about
it, I don't like the audio that comes out of most yaesu radios anyway nor do
I like the impossible menus on the hf radios and I bet if I spend time in
front of one I'd be able to make that list longer.
