I used to use zone alarm, I haven't in a few years now since I got my
router, but when I used it it was pretty good, when you signed on with a
program email or chat or anything like that, it would ask you if the program
was alright to connect to the internet, you check the box for remember the
setting and click yes and after  the first day or so, until you used a new
program that you hadn't used, it wouldn't bother you again with that.  I
liked it but just don't have a use for it with my router firewall so I got
rid of it.
