Thanks for the tips. I'll certainly remember to stay in vfo mode. Also sounds like a and b band may give you different resulting menu choices too.

is that the radio emits a lower beep when you get to the beginning of the
menus. One other caution: make sure your radio is in VFO mode when you
access the menus. Some menu items are unavailable in other modes, and
you'll get very confused if you try to count clicks.
