I got my microphone today for the 2000.  I haven't tried it yet.  What is
the pig tail that comes out of the plug that goes into the radio?  I
assume and hope the thing comes all wired for the Kenwood radio.  I think
it is a little strange having the p t t on the mike instead of on the
base.

Also, which positions are what on the toggle switch?
