I think you are ok with the wall charger if you leave it in a little longer
than the maximum charge time, but again, as I have said a number of times on
this list, don't do this if you are charging the battery with another DC
power source like an external power supply.  I did that, and did end up
cooking the original lythium ion battery pack that came with the rig.

Oh well, what do they say:  "Live and Learn".
