Hi Brent,
This parallels another thread right now!!
The top jack is a subminiature jack for either headphones or the speaker
portion of a speaker mike. The middle of the three jacks is the mike part
of the speaker mike and the bottom of the trio is the charger input.
It's a great handheld; enjoy. You should get a full charge in four hours
or so.
