HI folks,

TO answer Charles' question there's a ogod resource on the arrl web
site, not sure of the exact url but look for w3yvq and email him
direct and I'm sure he can give you the link.

He coordinated the effort to compend a very good work on best accepted
practices for traffic handling such as composing messages, voicing
them properly; ncs procedures for phone and cw nets etc. A very good
reference sorce in my opinion.

I have an ascii of one of the beta versions, it's in rich tet format
in the final version but check it out if you can. it's worth having
around to refer to.

I got my copy before it was released when I was region manager for
10th region phone net. I was real impressed with it and from what I
hear the final text is even better.
