Steve you can tell when you're in the analyzer mode if you hit the monitor
button on the bottom left of the ht and in my case I only heard the weather
information channel as long as monitor was engaged. In order to get out of
that mode, I had to hit function 4 twice and when I heard the low tone and
pressed monitor again and heard the normal squelch noise, I knew I was out
of it. I was on the phone with n5acr for 4-1/2 hours one night and we
determined that by experimentation. Marco works for amsat and I had a
couple other functions which I had to unlock at the same time. 73- kk3f
