You don't need it, you can have one, but you don't need it. I have both,
wired and wireless here, wireless for the laptops wired for the home PC's. I
will say this though, if you want to go wireless Ethernet, stay away from
linksys, when it comes to wireless with them I've had a lot of problems and
they have no clue what they're talking about on the phone when it comes to
that. sohoware seems to me to be the best unless things have really changed
in the last year or so. For wired, linksys is best I would say. JMHO,
that's all it is, JMHO on the later remarks about brands.
